The secondary meaning behind Ascend is the powerful drone imagery + footage that we use in our portfolio. Photography from the sky has a whole new level of impact. Although drone footage in photography has become a lot more popular, I want it to become more accessible for every-day couples as well.

When I was thinking of a new name for our business, I had a lot of words come to mind. I wanted the name to represent my philosophy behind photography, which is, to empower people. To up-lift them, to help them feel encouraged, and feel powerful. I want my photos to make people feel the emotion from my couples.

As a business, I've learned that I will always be learning. Ascend is also a reminder for me to keep growing, keep climbing, keep reaching to be better than before. I want to continue building on my artistic style and creativity. To provide more value for my clients. To always be leveling-up.
